Asana
The Rock Pose (or Vajrasana) is a relaxing and easy-to-learn stance. When you first begin to learn kundalini yoga, you will soon come across this pose and learn to understand it. The asana is used in many sessions, and so it is worth perfecting early on. While it may look simple enough, the truth is that this pose takes time to learn and master well enough.
The kundalini student must practice this particular move on a regular basis when they are first learning the art. The more you engage in the pose, the easier it will become. This asana is a way to become more centered and focus on the things that matter within your life. You will reap many different rewards when practicing the pose frequently.
Needless to say, the Rock Pose also has a wealth of spiritual gains that you should not overlook. Taking a moment to enact this asana means that you have time to contemplate and meditate. It is a way in which you can grasp and harness the universal power. You will find that you increase your energy flow through this pose and begin to feel energized immediately afterward. Most students find that they feel the difference right away.
Aside from the spiritual benefits, you may also find that the Rock Pose offers a range of physical advantages too. Regardless of the exercise you are doing, there is usually a lot of pressure on your legs and lower body. Taking the time to relax and give your legs muscles a break will make you feel entirely refreshed and relaxed. It is rare that we give this area of the body a moment of rest, and yet it is completely crucial to our overall health and wellness.
